It has been ages since I've updated my DA account. Part of it is the fact that I've been increasingly busy with my college studies. On one hand, I actually managed to graduate this past semester with
a Bachelor's degree in biology. Yay! On the other hand, I'm now enrolled in a Master's degree program, so I'm not off the hook just yet when it comes to being super busy. :') Even so, I finally have enough time to dedicate myself a bit more to my art again.
What art?
Well, it's true, I've been doing very little digitally these past couple of years (and consequently uploading little as I meant to keep my DA gallery a mainly digital, polished piece type of place). On the other hand, I've been doing much more traditionally, and have discovered and developed a love for
watercolour pencils and water-washes. I have been posting somewhat regularly on my art Tumblr, have made some sales through
my Etsy shop, have vended at an artist alley a couple of times at a con, and very recently, I've
started a Facebook page for my art. I do plan to update my DA page again, but it's going to take a little time, and won't be the main priority. So for now, if you're interested in catching up and staying afloat of what I'm doing, it's recommended you follow me on the following platforms of your choice:
Tumblr: forestfantasms.tumblr.comFB: facebook.com/forestfantasmsEtsy: forestfantasms.etsy.comThe Etsy one has a catch. I'm actually LEAVING Etsy due to some unpleasant policy changes they've made, tomorrow being the last day I'm there. For that reason, I'm currently hosting a shop closing sale there to make use of my remaining listings (which I paid good money for). If you're looking to get a heavily discounted print from me - or a couple - go to my Etsy shop and use the code
FOREST50OFF at checkout. That's it. I will be opening up a shop on a different platform soon, and there, you can expect many more listings from me, including original handcrafted stuff.
See you soon in an increased capacity,
Kaytara
