TbF: 16 - Green Shadows“What news, Brother?” the figure inquired, jabbing the torch into the ground. The flame went out, the surroundings going dark save for the fading stars in the greyish sky.   
“Regretfully, the roads bring few results. If our quarry is on the move, they are staying clear of them.”   
“It is only a matter of time. The ambush is in position? Are the Brothers ready?”   
“Awaiting your word.”

Hope you guys had a pleasant Valentine's Day.....

I did as I said I would and uploaded the first batch of pencil and ink sketches that I like enough to show but don't feel complete enough to go into my official gallery... Some of them are up to a year old... Everything much older than that is far too crappy to be shown to the world. XD

Also, I saw Sweeney Todd the other day and it was AMAZING! :D Granted, I hadn't quite expected that much blood and blood gushing wounds to be shown, but the movie itself was simply brilliant... A very classy dark style, great character and setting design - such a delightfully gloomy feeling! XD - and a fair dash of dark humour. :) Also, the casting was perfect and really brought the characters to life... I saw/listened to a excerpts from other adaptations of The Demon Barber of Fleet Street but I didn't like the singing as much as in the 2007 movie. :)

On a side note, I feel like doing some random browsing and commenting, so...

The first ten people to reply to this (heh, I'll be lucky to get that many replies.. XD) will be featured in this journal along with three of my favourite deviations by them. Not much of exposure, but everyone likes features, right? :D

As for the green creature, I honestly couldn't say. O_o If I remember correctly, I was originally aiming for something like a draconic canine, but then it turned into a draconic deer, and that was that... xD
